Iran is ready to reinitiate atomic discussions with Washington provided that it is treated with "respect" and "honor", Iran's top diplomat has stated.

The Iranian diplomat declared only diplomacy worked, and disclosed recent overtures had been made by go-betweens to restart negotiations with the Trump administration. He asserted Iran possessed no undeclared nuclear sites, and Tehran could not yet allow the UN nuclear inspectorate to visit attacked atomic facilities for safety concerns.

Walking a Complex Route

The foreign minister is navigating a challenging course since Iran aims to avoid be seen to be operating from a position of weakness, and he insisted repeatedly that Iran had come out more powerful defensively and emotionally from the Israeli-US attack on its enrichment centers in June.

He was talking at a strategic meeting in Tehran where he restated that Iran had "an inalienable right to enrich uranium domestically that it will always maintain" – the main reason of the deadlock in the prior discussions.

Previous Negotiations Abruptly Ended

The earlier sessions of negotiations between the US and Iran were ended suddenly and acrimonious end on 12 June when the Israeli government, with US support, struck Iranian nuclear sites in a two-week conflict that concluded with Donald Trump asserting the facilities had been eliminated. Following this, EU nations employed their right to reinstate UN-wide sanctions, but Iran maintains they have not had a substantial consequence.

Perfect Agreement Offered

Tehran representatives stated they felt they had achieved a "magic solution" to the nuclear fuel concern in prior discussions, when it was agreed an local partnership with Washington's engagement could enrich uranium. Each party would have been able to declare success since local refinement would have remained and the US could be assured that Iran's nuclear programme was exclusively peaceful.

It had not been settled in the negotiations that Washington's technical specialists could work on Iranian soil, but that was a natural consequence of the consortium proposal. Officials claimed on multiple occasions they had achieved a deal with the US representative the American negotiator only for the deal to fall apart due to "detractors in America".

Present Status

The Tehran's diplomatic corps has been accused of non-responsiveness in the aftermath of Trump's direct instinctive approach, but Tehran states diplomacy is not part of a show.

Political Standpoint

In his speech to the gathering, aimed to depict the US as a dominant force that misuses the idea of global regulations, the foreign minister said the 12-day war showed the dispute could not be ended by military means. He stated the assaults started with a US demand for an unconditional Iranian surrender and culminated with an unconditional call for a truce.

Iran is convinced the initial Israeli attacks were executed with total Washington understanding and coordination, making faith challenging to reestablish.

Araghchi declared: "Tehran was not the one that had fled negotiations; it was America and the European states that had always attempted to enforce their desires during the discussions. Negotiations can still be viable and remains the ultimate solution to settle disagreements, but its standards, regulations and fundamentals must be adhered to."

Restoration and Recovery

In what is portrayed by Iranian officials as the conflict of repair and recovery, the foreign minister stated he was confident Iran's security strengths "are considerably enhanced than preceding 13 or 14 June of this year. He continued: "We effectively endured this war. Our enrichment knowledge, which they intended to destroy, stays intact. The Iranian people have grown stronger, more cohesive, and more endorsing of the administration and the nation in the face of this invasion."
