Anthony Joshua is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight round contest which will be shown in real-time on Netflix.
Briton Anthony Joshua said he will "overwhelm entirely" Jake Paul and "break" the American as the pair confronted each other to build hype for the upcoming heavyweight fight.
Ex two time world title holder Joshua faces YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, on paper, a huge uneven pairing - at Miami venue on 19 December.
Fighter's Mindset
"I'm going to damage his features and damage his physique. My goal is to show my superiority," Joshua, 35 years old, said.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's how fighters think.
"I will really want to injure him. That's my goal."
Respectful Exchange
In spite of these statements, a calm Anthony Joshua and social media star Paul - normally known for his showmanship - exchanged pleasantries and kept it respectful with each other.
Jake Paul rather criticized ex Joshua's rival Francis Ngannou and described him as "a joke" after the Cameroonian turned down a match opportunity.
Targeting Fury
Joshua, at the same time, criticized UK opponent Fury - and refused a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a Paul win.
"[Paul] is better than Fury - he's actually sitting here," the boxer stated.
"I acknowledge that."
Serious Fighter
Despite saying he intends to punish Paul, Joshua chose not to talk badly about his rival's boxing ability.
"Jake is a legitimate boxer," he remarked.
Paul's History
Jake Paul - who initially became famous on the television network - has mainly fought mixed martial artists or declining opponents since turning professional.
He was defeated by Briton Fury in 2023.
Commercial Success
Nevertheless, the relative newcomer is still one of the sport's largest financial successes, frequently receiving massive financial rewards.
Forecast and Belief
The 28-year-old predicted a KO victory in the fourth or fifth round and claimed he would prevent the highly-expected match between Joshua and Fury, which is reportedly under discussion for two years from now.
"It's going to be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul said.
Physical Difference
As both boxers participated in the usual face-off, with their height and weight contrast on show, it emphasized just how surprising this whole event is - and how astonishing it is that the fight is truly happening.
