The Grave Allegations Nathaniel Spencer from Birmingham is accused of dozens of sexual offences â including some against minors under the age of thirteen â between 2017 and 2021. A senior CPS official stated, âLegal teams have diligently worked to support a thorough and intricate investigation, carefully reviewing the evidence to determine that there is sufficient evidence to proceed to trial and that it is in the interest of justice.â The Investigation The charges follow what investigators called a âcomplex investigationâ into alleged assaults at two hospitals: a hospital in Stoke-on-Trent and a facility in Dudley. Spencer is scheduled to appear at the local magistrates' court on 20 January. List of Offences Prosecutors said the 45 charges comprise: 15 counts of assault. 17 counts of assault by penetration. 9 counts of assault on a minor under thirteen.
